Opening Day

Even though this isn't my Red Sox blog I wanted to share some thoughts about the Red Sox. I think Red Sox Nation are the only people on the planet who get all excited about an 18 wheeler traveling down to Fort Myers. And a few of those get excited about a cheap re-enactment. Take a look at this if you will: Truck Day Re-enactment

Sweet Caroline *ba ba ba*
There is truly nothing like being in Fenway Park and singing that with 35,000 of your closest friends. *swoon*

Truck day is the most wonderful time of the year. Sure you dear reader and possible non-Red Sox fan fail to grasp the wondrousness that is Truck Day. You cannot approciate the joy and joyness. It means baseball season is just around the corner. It means the cold of winder will give way to the April showers and spring flowers of May. It means that you get to see the results of all the hot stove cooking of winter.

So what is my point? I got excited looking at people meowing grass to get ready for opening day tomorrow. Pictures of Fenway

I'm going to see Fenway but not for a Sox game but to see the Police! July 28th I will be in Fenway park! :-)

Today I watched the Hideo Nomo no hitter from April 4, 2001. It was funny seeing Manny without hair. It was also great seeing Trot there. I miss Trot. The next Red Sox classic was when Ortiz hit the walk off home run last year against Baltimore. (2005)

I'm working tomorrow but I'll be watching Gameday.
